I love watching this back in the day...But it was hard to compete or beat (that's better)with American band stand "Dick CLARK" and The Great Soul Train "Don Cornelius" James didn't get enough sponsors to support the show.

I bet they made the SSP Pee-Wees for smaller kids because us bigger kids (10-12) were stripping out the plastic toothed zip handles relatively quickly, and stores selling cars didn't sell spare zip handles (or T-stick... It's been a long time).

Mousetrap IS a totally new concept in gaming... a game that takes longer to set up than to actually play. They never made another one.

My older brother had a Bing Bang Boing.

I love " Smash up derby" ! When I was a kid I would watch one channel on Saturday morning in the chance that they'd show exactly what I see right now! I own two " Smash up derby" sets, and they are too fragile to play with. I'm not willing to take the risk of ruining them, and they cost a lot of money.

I had an SSP.....everything was good until one of my sisters friends got it caught in her hair.

I had Bug Out and I accidentally left it outside in my backyard. My mother told me that a gigantic raven flew into our backyard and picked up the Bug Out cage and flew off with it - never to be seen again! (I am literally crying from laughing writing this! Thanks for the memories!) 😂
